Farnham Cricket Club

Founded in 1782, Farnham Cricket Club is steeped in history. The club was one of the first fixtures for the famous Hambledon side. As one of the best-known clubs in Surrey, Farnham CC has produced two former England players, Graham Thorpe and Julius Caesar.

Based on the border of Surrey and Hampshire, Farnham CC retains its traditional appeal. It is based at the charming site of Folly Hill, with the walls and moat of Farnham Castle abutting the south-western boundary and the history deer park abutting the north-easten boundary.

Farnham CC currently runs three Saturday men’s sides and has a thriving colts section. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd XI teams all play cricket in the Surrey Championship. Currently the 1st XI are in the second division, and the 2nd XI are in the first division of their respective leagues.

They pride themselves on being a competitive, yet inclusive and friendly club where new members are always welcome.
